Good day Camino Community,
In these days that the use of internet networks has increased, cyber criminals have increased the possibilities of “phishing” users stealing valuable information, also being able to impersonate it to carry out illegal acts or “kidnapping” your computer to request a “ransom”. Here are some recommendations to keep safe:
1: – Frequently change your account password by putting uppercase and lowercase numbers and symbols if possible. Please ask your contacts to do so as well.
2.- Do not enter suspicious sites that “give away prizes” (games, videos, books) (The secure sites that have done so in solidarity in these times, have at the beginning in the browser that they have opened their resources, an “s” https without the “s” it means that it is not safe.
3.- I have implemented a filter in the domain so that these sites are not entered but it only applies with school users and not with personal users, so there is really no restriction for this, only your criteria.
4.- Do not accept files from people you do not trust, make sure they are the people you think they are through questions.
5.- Inform me of any security incident that may arise.
6.- Keep your antivirus updated and with a current license.
The main defenses against these criminals are common sense and mistrust.
Thank you.
Regards,
Hugo Hernández Denis
