Dear Parents of Colegio El Camino
As you may know El Camino is a non-profit organization with all board members serving on a volunteer basis. El Camino has reclaimed the top academic position in the State of Baja California Sur. We are living in uncertain times and we are all making sacrifices. We have analyzed the school’s current situation to understand how we can support one another as a community.
As a result of the need to reduce expenditures for our families we have assisted you by reducing the school supplies list by 50% and organized the resale of used books as well as more economic online options. Furthermore, we will delay capital improvements. We have suspended the previously planned and announced tuition increase for this school year, however, we have to keep our school running and maintain school operations. We, as an institution, can tighten our belts but we need you to correspond by paying on time. To this end we have approved the following:
- 20% Discount for April, May and June 2020 without surcharges for late payment and you can negotiate a payment plan with our Administrator, Alma Diaz. 143 2100 ext 103 [email protected]
- A 10% discount for families that pay the full year’s tuition 2020-2021.
- Discounts for families with additional children in the school are still considered as per the payment regulations found on the Schoology Calendar.
- 20% discount in monthly tuition for Camino families who have recommended our school to new families who have enrolled as of August 1st 2020 and beyond. This discount is subject to and awarded with the timely and complete payment of monthly tuition by both families before the 10th of each month and that the new family has never been enrolled in our school previously or has been granted a scholarship.
- These discounts cannot be combined with other discounts.
- Advertising for your products and services on our website and social media through eblasts without charge. You can take advantage of this service by registering through this link;

- Surcharges for late tuition payment will still be applied but with a window of up to 30 days overdue. Beyond 30 days surcharges will apply and will not be frozen.
- The above points are revisited on a monthly basis and any changes will be announced in the first days of each month.
Education is paramount, particularly in uncertain times. Investment in our children’s education ensures that they will be equipped to succeed no matter what the circumstances. CEC is an amazing school with a global teaching staff, a global program and global student body. We trust that you will pay your child(ren)´s tuition on time so we can continue to provide a world class education during COVID-19 and beyond. We and our children are part of the best academic institution in the state of BCS and will continue to strive and maintain ourselves as the vanguard school in the state.
