Colegio El Camino is an International Baccalaureate (IB) bilingual private school in Cabo San Lucas. As a non-profit institution, we are governed by a dedicated board of governors, including members from founding families and esteemed community leaders. We are one of only 25 schools in Mexico that offers the full IB Continuum program.
Our mission at El Camino is to develop honorable, inquisitive, and compassionate learners who, through creativity and a rigorous curriculum, evolve into passionate leaders in the global community.
With a vibrant student body of 380, representing more than 20 nationalities, we take pride in our diverse community. While most of our students are Mexican nationals, we also welcome learners from across the world, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Israel, Japan, France, and more.
Our international accreditation with Cognia and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) has greatly enhanced our diversity. We are one of only 41 Cognia-accredited schools in Mexico, a testament to our commitment to excellence.
As one of the 117 IB World Schools in Mexico, we offer the Primary, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Additionally, we are fully registered with the Mexican Ministry of Education.
For 40 years, El Camino has been at the forefront of global education in Los Cabos, welcoming students of all nationalities, religions, cultures, and socio-economic backgrounds. Our school provides a safe, nurturing environment, supported by a diverse and certified staff.
Beyond our bilingual curriculum, we offer a range of support services, including licensed psychologists, mentoring, college counseling, academic academies, sports programs, the Camino Language Acquisition Support Program (CLASP), para-academic workshops, and the IB Diploma CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) Program.
