The name “El Camino” draws inspiration from a line in a poem by Antonio Machado: “Walk where there is no road, for you create the road by going.” Faithful to its name, Colegio El Camino continues to create new ways for students to learn and prosper as they navigate their journey in life.
September 15, 1983 THE DREAM BECOMES REALITY
The dream that would become Colegio El Camino became reality thanks to the Diaz Rivera, Coppola, and Parr families. Guided by Manuel Sierra Rosales, the first director, and a dedicated team of six educators, the school was founded in 1983 with fewer than 10 students.
