Early in 2023, Colegio El Camino launched the Adopt-a-Meter (Metroton) campaign to install new turf in our soccer field and improve our sports facilities. We are incredibly excited to announce that we have reached our goal and that our soccer field now has brand-new turf and paint. We are very proud to be part of such a supportive community. A huge thanks to everyone who made it possible for our Hawks champions to have a championship field!
On May 2nd, we held the long-awaited inauguration of our soccer field. The whole school was present, along with board members, campaign sponsors, and many Camino families. We began with a formal civic ceremony, recognized donors and sponsors, then officially inaugurated the field with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The inauguration concluded with a friendly penalty shoot-out competition between Hawks Houses.
