BCS Governor Announcement and Camino Online Learning Plan

Good Day to each of you,

First, I hope you are all safe and healthy.  However, if you are in dire need of help please contact me directly and we will seek to get you the support you require.

As you may well know, our Governor, Mr. Carlos Mendoza Davis announced yesterday the “suspension” of the school year and the elaboration of a program of “regularization” to conclude it. His announcement does not distinguish public from private schools, so it is likely that “regularization” pertains to the public school system. He reiterated this morning on the radio that the school year is not cancelled. His stance is not to return to face to face classes this school year.

Since March 23rd, we have implemented our CEC Online Learning Plan and I am immensely proud of all our students, teachers and parents for your commitment to this plan.

We will complete our program as planned, following the school calendar and that includes final assessments. We will end the school year with our on-line graduation ceremonies Wednesday July 1st.
