Dear Camino Community,
We want to remind you that we are always keeping tabs on the overall health of our community. Recently we have detected a few cases of Foot, Hand, Mouth virus. There have been symptoms in some students and the confirmation of this virus. Although highly contagious, it is not life threatening.
In order to protect our community from the spread of the virus here at school we are requiring all parents whose children are showing signs of these symptoms to present a doctor’s note from BLUE NET indicating that he or she is or is not contagious with the virus, prior to attending classes or activities at our school. Any student who is diagnosed with the virus, will require a doctor’s note from BLUE NET indicating when he or she can return to school. Otherwise we will be unable to receive your child until said note is presented to us.
Blue Net hospitals offer a free consultation to determine if your child has the virus mentioning you are a Camino Family and presenting the school ID.
For more information on symptoms of foot, hand, mouth please consult the following pamphlet from BLUE NET:
We are placing hand sanitizer gel bottles in every classroom and teacher ́s will be reminding students to regularly wash their hands and not share food or drinks.
